Purpose of the Position

Divisional Sales Manager is responsible to effectively manage the Logico Supplier Sales division; Client and Customer Relationship to achieve operational excellence and accelerated growth within the Eswatini Market. This position offers a great opportunity for personal and professional growth as well as security and stability. The position requires someone who has a high need for achievement, is self-disciplined and driven to succeed, has an enhanced ability to build relationships quickly and effectively, is highly organised and works well under pressure and has solid experience in the FMCG sales sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Calling on customers and management of identified key accounts
• Monthly key accounts meetings with all key account customers
• Developing effective relationships with new and current Key Account Customers
• Sourcing of new business
• Managing sales effectively ensuring that sales budget is achieved
• Identifying and exploiting new market opportunities and products
• Motivating resource allocations for any new opportunities
• Developing and implementing effective strategies for countering competitor activity
• Ensuring all customer requirements and complaints are communicated appropriately and dealt with timeously
• Ensuring that absolute stock is managed effectively and that obsolescence costs are minimised
• Create a weekly trade plan by store
• Ensure all NPDs are listed and active for all key accounts before an NPD forecast is processed
• Monthly Customer Sales Review by supplier to be completed with each Client and Key account Customer
• Manage pricing in all outlets
• Provide capacity building, coaching and mentorship for the team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management or relevant tertiary qualification
• Proven track record in sales
• At least 5-7 years FMCG Operations management experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Ability to prepare and manage budgets and targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent leadership skills
