It was a picture-perfect sunny morning of MTB Racing at the Enjabulweni Fun Day. As the first sponsored edition of the Enjabulweni MTB Race, credit should be given to Spar Buy ‘n Save Supermarkets as well as Enjabulweni School for their involvement in the days activities.

Race Results

MTN Khemani’s Muzi Shabangu continued his dominent form winning the 30km race in a time of 1:33:11. The 19 year old has been winning just about every local tournament available and was the champion on the day. In a close second with a time of 1:33:16 was Inyatsi’s Sifiso Mhlanga and wrapping up the top 3 was Sihawu Dhlamini with a time of 1:33:24.

The events main sponsor was Spar Buy ‘n Save Supermarkets, who made use of the Enjabulweni Schools premises and facilities. Several financial and product donations where sponsored by Logico Unlimited, Mormond Electrical Contractors, Khuba Traders, Inyatsi as well as Lions International. Without whom the event would not have been made possible.
